Stumpy Tail Lizard, Concongella, Victoria

Stumpy Tail Lizards (Tiliqua rugosa) are often seen at the side of, or on country roads, usually warming up to become more mobile. Unfortunately, sometimes this makes them vulnerable to passing vehicles. This one, at Concongella, near Stawell, Victoria, made it across the road unscathed today. This particular road has very little traffic too which helps.
