Platypus, Allens Rivulet, Tasmania

When we lived in Allens Rivulet, we used to go down the back to Allens Rivulet itself and sit on rock ledges (Permian mudstone) overlooking pools, and occasionally watch the iconic local egg-laying mammals, platypuses (or is that platipi? 😁). Sometimes, we would see two of them in the same pool.
