Australian Fur Seals, Bruny Island, Tasmania

Australian Fur Seals, also known as the Longnose Fur Seal (Arctocephalus forsteri) have a couple of colonies at Friar Rocks, at the southern end of Bruny Island, Tasmania. Apparently, these colonies consist only of male seals. Photo taken in December 2009. The colony does pong a bit!
