Had a day out with the grand-girls today and had lunch at the Camperdown Botanic Gardens, Camperdown, Victoria, overlooking two crater lakes, Bullenmerri and Gnotuk. In addition to photos of a number of native species (to come), I also captured an introduced finch, the colourful European Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis). These were initially introduced into Australia in the 1800s.
